christmas

i kinda like this yr's christmas coz it quietly came and went. i liked it especially coz of the peace and serenity

well this yr there was no christmas dinner at home, neither was there the christmas tree tt was previously always set up in gd order by my bro. perhaps there's no more reason/love in his life..

hence no more reason to go thru the trouble of all the preparations. (u can compare the difference by looking at the archive> see dec 2006.

tiz year my bro n i attended the christmas eve midnight mass at holy cross church. jio-ed twin to come along as well. melissa came too. the church was SUPER packed. caroling started at 1130pm, whilst mass started at 12. in e end, we had to sit upstairs coz it was fully occupied downstairs.

nonetheless it was juz a magical feeling ushering christmas day, the birth of Jesus (well Jesus is not born on 25th Dec btw..) and Him into our lives. Of all forms tt God cld choose for the preparation of the coming of Christ, God chose Jesus to come as a baby.

To signify helplessness. a baby signifies the nd for us to love, to welcome into our lives. God didnt choose a savior to come in the form of a Lion, or a fearful creature. The reason he chose Jesus to come as a baby, is God's gift to us. for us to love and embrace.

i guess twin also finally knew the fact tt lameness indeed run in family, and was horrified tt my bro is a much lamer version than me.

went out to makan with the doubles ytd, excluding wt who's now happily in cambodia. its amusing to see threasa and edward bicker and i can so sense the tension when it comes to the topic of..dragonboat.

all angela n i cld do was juz look at them and laugh. the rife btn the guys n gals seeps into the lives. all i did was juz nod and laugh..i didnt take sides at all. all i know is tt differences do arise and differences doesnt necessarily mean it involves judgement.

plus its neither gd or bad.

its juz..different.

and i respect both sides for tt.

merry christmas to all.
