ahh..time trial

Actually time trial turned out quite gd. The only not so gd thing was when we were told there's gonna be another land time trial. U cld juz see it in the expression n e unanimous reaction of 'HUH!?' in everyone.

I told ya..i cant sprint. I only managed to shave 0.6 sec off my previous time clocked during last sem's time trial. Talk bout improvement. Yes i noe, whether big or small, it's still an improvement. Nah i'm not complaining either. Made a bet wif pingxiu on who will be slower than the other coz we both claim dat we cant sprint for nut's sake! The person who runs faster will have to treat the other a 25c Mac ice cream. i thought i saw her finishing faster den me when i glanced to my side, but i clocked a time of 18.14sec while she came in in a time of 18.17sec. a difference of 0.03 sec. I concede defeat. Yea ok Mac ice cream on me. =]

E other stations were quite alright. Compared to last sem, definitely doing more reps in a minute. Timing for 2.4 run, hmm contented. clocked personal best timing. In JC i thought i peaked in sec 3 in terms of timing for 2.4km run. I guess i was wrong about myself. I juz wonder why 2.4runs cant be like juz 1 route by itself to replace the 6 rounds on the track. Maybe it's like some 'mind over body' thing? It sure is mentally challenging aft each rd tt u complete..lyk '3 down..3 more to go'. But yea, the key is in the breathing. Just breathe, hold ur heads high n run!

Flashback to last yr's land time trial. It was a disaster. Lotsa disappointment in personal performance. Somehow aft reading e archives in other pple's blog on last yr's land time trial..hmm..i feel like we've definitely picked ourselves up from there. The incident definitely highlighted the importance of an embrace, a hug. Such a simple gesture tt's so often taken for granted. But thanks again, thank u, for being there at tt pt in time. Yes we also learnt a big lesson on confidence n composure. Bet it was more present this time round. Woohoo

I'm not sure if i can mention it now, ok maybe i'd do so discretely. Our alma mater[sec sch tt is] cr**c**t ncc got best girls unit this yr!! woohoo! yes yes, i'm proud to have been thru this in sec school. to learn wad's it all about honour n glory, one-for-all, all-for-one. wad they go thru today is little of wad we've gone thru last time, all those tekan-ing sessions. ord-ed 4 yrs ago but still feel emotionally attached there. maybe its time we go back to see how those juniors r doing huh? ok den again, where got time!!? sighh.
