loads of fun over the weekends
wenya did a really gd post on e chalet+trg lah!! I've fallen in love with her posts, its really well done up, with pictures n ur thoughts. *thumbs up*
so let me start with day 1 of chalet(Friday 20/05): We were supposed to meet 10am at JE Stn to go IMM Giant to get the foodstuff n BBQ items but i decided to meet them ltr coz my towel needed for sat had yet to dry up n my flu worsened in the morning. N so i met them at 1245 at JE aft they finished shopping e stuff. Checked in, but b4 tt, i was juz amazed at how the paddle drew so much attention. Pple kept staring. Yes, ok we have trg the next day n tt's y we r checking in with a paddle. N no, its not Nimbus 2000, its NOT a flying broom.
Anyway, the rest nua-ed ard, esp on e bed n watched tv n lazed ard, while weili, jul n i went to prepare the foodstuff, like to get rid of the wrapper of the crabstick, clear the insides of the sotong[yucks!],marinate the chicken with dark soy sauce, pepper n BBQ sauce.Which reminds me of the joke in diz particular episode in PCK, [Marry Nate, the chicken, with the soy sauce] hahaha..ok den we had a late lunch n jul asked if i wanted to buy e 25c Mac ice cream n i said i'd be full so i didnt want to, Regret no. 1
We played Uno with Yanling's Winnie the Pooh cards and i was named the Silent Killer coz hahaha.. i'd juz keep quiet there w/o the rest knowing and b e first to game. The game tt truly test friendship..wahahah.. coz we'd see how pple throw the wild draw four card; or to protect themselves by throwing a draw 2 on top of another draw 2 to sabo the next person; or upon knowing tt e person has the last card left, throw a wild card n purposely choose a colour tt she knows the person who wants to game do not have. it was damn funny, yah..seriously reliving lost childhood. wenya arrived e last n den we started the BBQ n i volunteered the 7-8pm shift coz i asked my bro to tape while e majority watched e last episode of e 'a-wang' show.
Aft we finished BBQ-ing all e food, many were still hungry coz we had intentionally ask them not to buy so much food for fear of leftovers. So aft watching e guess show, we walked out to Cheers convenient store to get some food. there was the 6pack Carona which i contemplated buying to drink for the night, but then i thought it was expensive n we cld drink the following night so, didnt buy in the end. Regret no. 2
Oh yah, how can i forget mentioning bout the b'dae surprise for sally. wait, let me finish laughing first. wahahahahahahahahahahhaaha. It was damn funny lah. It was her turn to bathe, so while she was bathing, there was a commotion outside n we were planning to surprise her when she stepped out of the bathroom. So the mahjong kakis[me,jul, yanling n kaiyan] were told to STOP PLAYING n to get ready. We switched off all the lights, positioned ourselves, with jul holding the slice of cake. It was pitch dark, den suddenly, we heard the door knob turned, and sally came out of the bathroom. At this instance, weili got damn excited, she jumped to her right, misgauging tt jul was there. Weili has night blindness lah!! As a result, she banged into jul, n caused jul to mishandle the cake n the cake dropped onto the floor. At tt moment, all of us juz stunned there, not knowing what to do. jul picked up e cake, relit the candle, and den we pretended ntg happened, and sang Happy birthday to Sally. 2 version some more..e normal one n e crescent style. It was damn funny, laughed like mad!

woke up at bout 5am coz it was darn cold, the air con n e fan was on!! And i was sleeping under the fan. So so cold, considering i was wearing the trg tee n fbt shorts to sleep n the very hole-y blanket didnt quite help. So i walked out where wenya, wee, yanling, n lipin were talking n i think i scared them[it was unintentional, really!] coz i looked zombified n they happened to be talking about the movie 'the sixth sense' when i juz walked out.
Day 2(21/05): Woke up at 8am, but i lai4 chuang2 for 2hrs till 10. They went out for breakfast while i stayed in to watch powerpuff girls. Was planning a light breakfast n heavy lunch b4 trg. We TP-ed ALOT b4 e 3 of us left for trg, tt explained y i didnt bother to take out Ixus 400 during trg coz i was so satisfied by e no. of pics we took lah. Actually its quite convenient to get down to kallang frm pasir ris, it only took us about 30-40min to reach, coz its only 9 MRT stops.
Trg today was with dessert. 2 donuts to be exact. I believe tt the highlight was tt 5min resistance trg followed by an unexpected additional 5min row. Yup, in e cab on our way back to e chalet, we were discussing bout trg today, n i quote wenya, we all 'felt smth'. Indescribable wad exactly was this something, but somehow, it felt nice. It was something. It was an amazing thing. Yes david n his usual crappiness, 'I want perfect 10 strokes *pauses a while*..U noe what i mean by perfect 10 strokes rite?.. 98.7 FM!' I broke out in laughter, turned to wenting n said, 'I knew he was going to say tt!!' In fact in my head i was ald thinking of tt lah. Weird frequency man. He went on about how tt set was shiong, but 'if its not xiong, u wont enjoy trg rite?' and i thought back bout how he once said smth like tt during e 1st few trgs last sem when i was having a hard time rowing n he mentioned smth like, 'if trg was not xiong, u wont wanna come back every week for more' n in my heart, i was like, 'yah ok next week u wont see me anymore'
Anyway aft tt, we ran to somewhere not far frm the national stadium n did circuits. Arghh, no tissue paper!! Was trying to hard to prevent e mucus frm coming out. But while doing e last set of sit ups, mucus came out n i tried to prevent it frm coming out so it was rather awkward when doing. Instead of hands to ur ears, it was left hand couping my ears, n right hand to my nose. meiping tried hard not to laugh while helping me press my feet during sit ups. hrmpf.
Pull ups. haha yah, e 1st bar. Yirang, u noe e reason eh? smart girl! hahaha n wenya's really learning to convert screams to my constipated sound instead. Anyway, pple who think wenya's screams r unbearable obviously havent met wangwee!! my eardrums almost burst/burst nth times in e chalet itself.
While walking to e shower room aft trg, wenting was beside me n we started talking. Converstation was kinda funny. I asked, 'hmm, so how's it being e pacer? Do u feel tt u r always being zhua-ed?' n we both burst out laughing. actually i'm not tt gd either, really. Just have gotta be zhua-ed more to learn NOT to get excited when up-ing n maintain a steady pace for back pac. I got zhua-ed quite a bit last sem when i started out wif meiping beside me n zhenyi behind me; zhenyi kept catching me rely on my biceps to pull when i was tired; while meiping telling me to 'PULL LONG!' while up-ing. N diz sem its angeline who'd give pointers like to flip up. I noe they meant well lah.
3 of us took a cab back to chalet n had dinner with them. Discussed bout e sets we did today. Dinner was at the food court. Life is sad w/o chilli! =[ N there's no Carona tonight coz..food ban started le! Boo hoo hoo.
Went back to chalet, n i asked wangwee to massage me, coz muscles feel a bit sore aft trg. hahaha. but in the end, i got so easily tickled tt she couldnt massage me. No, i'm not high, neither am i aroused[oh pls!] just tt, i dunnoe, lotsa very sensitive spots recently. put 9 girls on e same bed n what do u get? Lotsa screaming!! They kept tickling me n weili 'tau-pok' me while lipin n yanling kept jabbing me n i dunnoe who wld juz join in e tickling. Bullied!! Being the youngest..hrmpf. Well i get to whine the most but at e same time get bullied also. N i'm not a little girl! I'm mature. We played 'heart attack' on e bed n basically we'd juz siam-ed getting smacked as far as possible. Then we also played 'Who, what, huh' n i was almost gonna KO le so i actually wanted to say 'what' but it came out as a 'wuh'--a combination of what n huh. So it was considered 1 forfeit. Heng ah, nv forfeit thrice if not gotta do funny stuff. Weili had to stand on e bench n sing a song; jul had to hug e lamp post n shout 'lamp post i love u!'; kaiyan n do dance round the same lamp post n do the smurf song. There was this really amusing alien game, wah next time can play man. dedededededede, tiu, dedededededede, tiu ..hahah its still fresh in my head.
We all KO-ed early, maybe like 12/1 am. It was really an enjoyable chalet. yup, a toast to our friendship of 7yrs and still gg..
