Sunday: went for 845am Mass, Fr. Ignatius is leaving for further studies in Chicago. He's a great priest and he makes me sit up and listen during his sermons. Damn comical guy and always keep me attentive during Mass. Today he preached bout praying to Mary to ask her to turn her eyes onto us, esp during moments when we r down, when the gg gets tough. Then he played the song 'If we hold on together' Damn touching lah, was close to tears.
Then went home, rest a while, and then off for trg. Reached Kallang stn at 1pm, saw the juniors waiting for one another b4 going. Kinda see myself in them and suddenly thought of wad meiping said tt time when we still waited for pple. 'Starting, we will wait for pple to come, den subsequently we juz go first.' Life comes to a full circle, i'd elaborate more on tt later.
We had 12 juniors down today and despite the fact tt we ald repeated it like Nth time bout counting during jumping jacks, some didnt. N so, they were introduced to the 100 over jumping jacks. Told ya, life comes to a full circle. Get a bitter taste of it, at an accelerated pace. Geoks was saying smth like, 'deja vu' aft we finished.
We rowed and i paced with Raine. Today's focus was on Pause. There was 1 more leftie den rightie so i opted to b drummer to watch the team row. 1st time being drummer, seeing the strokes, feeling e glide. of course i'd like to row. Most comfy when my hands r holding a paddle, not a rudder[bad experience] or a drum stick[havent tried but i think i'm too heavy to qualify being drummer]. Did pull ups, cool down, den debriefed. Yes, DB1101, why the need to Pause. I did not want them to b ignorant like me(last time) but to row consciously.
Went for dinner at Imperial Treasure @Centrestage. was tired so we[jul, yr n i] didnt join the remaining who nua-ed at TCC.
Monday: went to sch to mug at yih. yes, yes. Read the Psychology textbk and it was really dry. a total of 41 pages, finished digesting within a span of 4 hrs. Wendy came, cheez came, and geoks came. All at different times. Went for Assumption of Our Lady Mass at Church of the Holy Cross with Denise. Ok when e 2 of us are together, there's inevitably loads of laughter, or controlled bouts of laughter. Cant help it lah, 1 of the chior member had diz really funny voice.
Came back to yih n geoks da-bao katsu frm sci-ence for me. So nice, and its her treat somemore. All Thanks to my throw-face request aft wendy gave e welcome gift to Arts n demanding a farewell gift from sci-ence. It was a fantastic meal! Yummy, n thanks geoks.
Watched Charlie n e chocolate factory wif my Aug 19 buddy, Huajie, at JP. It's really a damn lame show lah.
Whipped cream>> having the cows being whipped. "How can whipped cream be whipped cream if it's not whipped?"
"the greatest prize of all is a surprise!"
Like seriously..it was damn lame. N i gotta admit its a distortion of the story, though it was worth the laugh. Still prefer the story book though.
