turning 20 on e 19th

yes today is my birthday. As i grow older, i'm so easily contented tt this day has just been a normal, typical, eventful day. Just like any other days. I dun seek comfort in extravagence, I'm easy-going and easily satisfied.

i am happy.

Wenya, smart gal! yes the pun was intended and u managed to spot it. gd one! i may not b pro in lit but hah, with my sec 4 knowledge i can still get by with some lit backgounrd and make use of puns. Sometimes intended, sometimes unintended.

Ok, so today is my birthday. A very ordinary day. Me waking up at 630am so tt i wld be able to reach LT11 on time for the 8-10am lecture. Aft lect ended, i went to yih to do some reading, and then hit the gym with yirang n wendy. Yah, the gym. Gymming. Aft e 3 of us went to sci-ence to have lunch and chee ling joined us.

Cheez is a powtou-ster. hahaaha. Unintenional one dat is. We were sitting at a round table and she sat opposite me, so she cld see what's happening behind me. When she saw wendy approaching me[my back was facing wendy] with a slice of cake, she gave e *gasp*/surprise kinda look. Instinctively a person wld turn back and see what's gg on behind rite? Which i did lah, and yah, so much for the surprise. hwahhahha. But thanks twin, cheez n yirang! Then twin took an unglam shot of me, hrmf.

Proceeded back to the nerd's hang out to do my readings frm 2-4pm. Headed down to LT11 for my econs lecture and had diz sudden brilliant plan. When the lecturer was drawing all e demand n supply curve and all the diagrams, a thought suddenly hit me. 'Hey, actually i can be an Econs teacher huh?' Yah..dun be maths teacher can still be econs teacher wad! But of course, i'm still keeping my career options open. Aft lect, i met jul and den we headed down to Dhoby Ghaut where it's supposed to be a Surprise as to where we were heading for dinner. The best prize is a surprise hahah. The venue was Fish and Co. This glass house and it was really cool. There was a live band but we sat upstairs where they had bigger tables. Yah like finally, the youngest in the clique is turning 20.

During dinner, i realised that our clique is damn super san ba(38)! I guess that's wad happens when u have 9 girls ard(sally could not come) meeting up on one another's birthday. Seriously, all e excitement was quite, erm..nvm. We nua-ed a little and then no, if u think they asked e live band to play me a bdae song, den u r wrong. They didnt. Why shd they? They cld sing far better. There came a waitress with an ice cream and a sparkler on top of it. I was made to stand on a chair, yah like seriously. which i did, and then jul, guimei, weili, yanling, kaiyan, lipin, wangwee, wenya broke out into the Crescent style bdae song. The waitress was prompting,'why not we sing it tgt?' and she was visibly taken aback when they sang. Coz we sang it so loud and yah, u wont get it till we demo. 4yrs aft leaving Crescent and we havent lost our power~! For tt moment, i think it kinda shook the place with the intensity of the decibels?

Yup we ate at PS swensen's aft tt. We r planning to meet up 1mth ltr, coz it doesnt mean no1's bdae ald den we dont see one another. "1st oct can or not, childrens' day?" wangwee asked. Wenya says, "ask cindy ah. she not free means we[jul n her] also not free"

I flipped my organiser. "Eh..1st Oct we in Tianjin. 2,4,6 u all noe rite, cannot touch."

We left at 11+. Really enjoyed e company of friends and dinner; one of the most basic things in life which is also most essential. Friendship. Thanks kaiyan, for being the organiser this time round. =] I received my present outside swensens, its a Nike sling bag, and a skirt. I'm gonna utlise it, dun worry.

So now i shall hand it over to wenting, who will celebrate her 20th bdae today. Hey if u r looking at this, i juz wanna say Happy birthday to U man! N pls take care of ur ankle, ur flu n all. Read ur blog, u really gotta take care and hang in there. It will definitely take some time for u to settle down. *bdae hug*
