ever wonder what ur dad does for a living?

well all these while i noe my dad's job title:

senior horticulturist

like, wth does that mean?

curious, i asked him what does he do specifically in his job. got to know tt he looks aft trees ard pasir ris. take care of the flora and fauna, the visual aesthetic.

anw yesterday..he was featured in the chinese news! my gosh, our whole family had such a gd laugh coz daddy looked kinda nervous and he was commenting in chinese (omg..) why they had no choice but to cut down some of the trees as it was imposing certain risk to the residents. felt his chinese super CMI can..but not as if mine is v gd. hehe

smtg like when the strong wind blows the trees risk falling on some unsuspeting resident who walked under the tree. and den the residents were unhappy abt the move coz they loved how the trees were aesthetic value to their neighbourhood.

we were all laughing out really loud during the news segment, and at the end of it, daddy exclaimed, 'so lame!'

i received an sms frm zw, asking me wad my dad's chinese name was. apparently she also watched the news. i told her it was indeed my dad.

she quite smart leh, coz she taut it was my dad when they mentioned smtg abt trees, pasir ris, and his name?
