the playground

conversation btn zw, hb n i as we walked past by the free weights gym today:

zw: dun u all miss this place?

hb n i: hmm..no..not really. *shudders at the thought of eddy's revolting gym*

zw: why not? this is like the fish tank, or shd i say, our playground! Cindy do u rmb the incident where manda n i made all of us do 80 push ups?

me: i vaguely rmb the incident but i hardly recall how many push ups we did lah

zw: R u sure u dun rmb? i rmb v clearly u n rang's face super black, den sommore i had to b same grp as u during the gym session, so scary can!?

filled with plenty of curiosity, 1st thing i d did when i reached home was to flip thru my diary to recall back the incident. Here's wad i wrote(my gosh..):

damn 不爽 during trg today lah. During warm up, even b4 we started, xx made us do 40 push ups for 'playing' in the new gym. it's like..wtf! i mean, the 'playing' was coz she felt we were not being serious by using the balancer thing. She directed to us- the snrs- for playing at the gym and not setting gd example. My mood during trg juz changed lah. I juz felt v 不服气 tt they didnt give us warning. I mean, yes we aren't supposed to play in the gym, but we were juz trying out the balancer. besides, everything also gotta give warning first, then aft tt it gives the green light to punish subsequently if we make the same mistake. rang n i were equally pissed! All our faces super black during trg.

anw did free weights @ the new gym. we did shoulder press, bicep curl, bench press, squats, cling and jerk, front delts, bendover roll, medicine ball. partnered sharon, zw and joyce. adeline spoke during debrief n said we shdnt be punished, as in shd give warning first. I wanted to say smtg along tt line but held back coz i didnt wanna undermine their authority. wad i felt was commendable was tt eventually we snrs still stood behind them, in tt though we had e opportunity to voice out our grievances, we chose not to.

Zee..its 40..not 80 leh. anw zee said actually their initial plan was to make us do 80, but in the end it was reduced to 40.

I cant imagine wad my reaction wld be if at tt time, they made us do 80. probably the same, but aft trg mayb got confrontation. hahahahah ;p
