Jesus Heals a Man

Mark 1:40-45

A man suffering from a dreaded skin disease came to Jesus, knelt down, and begged him for help. "If you want to," he said, "you can make me clean."

Jesus was filled with pity, and reached out and touched him. "I do want to," he answered. "Be clean!"

At once the disease left the man, and he was clean. Then Jesus spoke sternly to him and sent him away at once, after saying to him, "Listen, don't tell anyone about this. But go straight to the priest and let him examine you; then in order to prove to everyone that you are cured, offer the sacrifice that Moses ordered."

But the man went away and began to spread the news everywhere. Indeed, he talked so much that Jesus could not go into a town publicly. Instead, he stayed out in lonely places, and people came to him from everywhere.

Well..coincidence or not (tiz was Sunday's gospel reading), i may nv ever know. Today, i went to the doc for my review and yes..i am officially clear of HFMD.

Overjoyed.

Haha its more than mere physical healing. its the cure frm wadever stigmatisation tt came with it. Rahh, its not a ginna disease ok. Adults do have HFMD too, although its a rarity.

Nonetheless, point of clarification. HFMD is spread through direct contact with the mucus, saliva, or feces of an infected person. In case many of u out there (seriously there are!) harbour any thoughts tt i may have kena HFMD coz i kissed someone, the answer is no, i didnt -_-^

I shared food with my colleague, so tts how i got it. But u noe, its doesn't quite matter since i'm not angry or bear any grudge when such things happen.

i still believe things happen for a reason n can only pray for stronger shoulders to weather anything tt may come.
