OCBC Cycle Singapore 2010
7 March 2010 Sunday: Annie (宝贝), Rachael (GGD=怪怪的), Xiao Pei (小瓜) and I formed a team of 4 and named ourselves team F4. F for fabulous..fantastic..feeew weet (does tt count?) :p
Anw we signed up for the easy-peasy, go-at-leisure-pace 20km community challenge which was supposed to start at 730am. Flag off was at F1 race pit.
We planned to meet at 630am to collect our bikes and helmet but as usual, there'd always be late comers. Saw Doreen (达人) and GGD inspecting their bikes which they have already collected.
While making my way there, i saw pin, ling, alvin and guimei. but at tt time of the day i was still in a slight daze and mumbled quite abit. hee.
I then made my way to collect my bike and helmet and gt a positive surprise! well diz year, the organisers actually decided to invest in a fleet of new bikes! woohoo the bikes were beautiful and awesome..they smelled fresh and well oiled.
宝贝, 小瓜 and Lynn came shortly after I arrived. When we were abt to start, Agnes finally reached.
Off we rode and there we were having fun and keepin a lookout for one another to make sure we were within sight and distance from one another.
We kinda lost sight of 小瓜 and Lynn halfway and the rest of us (Agnes, GGD, 宝贝 and 达人) rode behind leisurely and took an extended break at ecp to finish up our bottle of chilled 100 plus. It was heavenly :]
before we knew it, we have alr reached the finishing line. Perhaps it was a clear indication tt 20km is no kick and we shd perhaps go for 40km next year. hahaha
started cam-whoring aft the event. Anw tiz is a sneak peak at some of my ocbc team mates..
