team dinner
got a big hole in my pocket la. but its $ well spent. i wont stinge on this man. Today we had the team dinner blk 45 XO 鱼头米粉. Ordered like sambal kangkong, 麦片虾，虾卷，虾酱鸡， 排骨王，sweet n sour pork, fried kailan, 3 bowls of XO fish head bee hoon soup.
A treat by the outgoing [ha actually i'm an introvert] and incoming capts/vice capts. well there's a reason for this treat. For yr n i, its to thank everyone for gg thru 1 yr with us. For zw n manda, its to get everyone to rally behind them for the coming yr. Maybe to treat them to a gd meal b4 they seriously tekan us like mad for 1 yr. arghhh
i'm NOT the man!! but anw thanks for the plaque and the scroll. it's really v sweet of u all. The gals juz totally crack me up with all the silliest nonsense n rumours cum gossips over dinner. oh not to mention bc coming in office clothes. heh it was like an OMG moment.
Aft dinner, 9 of us went to eskibar for drinks. ahhh, pubbing..i like ;] i ordered a lemon drop shotdrink. the midpart tasted v alcholic-y, like alcoholic swap. tt caused me to scringe,it was as if i didnt enjoy the drink. But the after taste was great. the lemon slice was coated with sugar so it was kinda like sour, den sweet, den sour. its like playing with ur tastebuds. naughty..wahahha. Great drink, i will order tt in future.
we talked more abt dragonboat stuff at eski bar. our volume was so loud i think we drove the existing customers away. well its gd at least coz there was less air pollution aft they left. it was just loads n loads of crapping n laming inside. Like how the flame from the tea light went off, then someone said, 'maybe coz got spirit(ghost)' and den i quipped, 'yah, a strong presence of TEAM SPIRIT, tts y the flame extinguished.'

btw for those who do not know, the reason for yr n i giving u all the cup for july race souvenir is this. Cup symbolises the PM Cup. it'll be an empty cup dp-ing on how u see it. our cup is filled with colours, and also a pic of the team. all of us make up the cup. not individuals, but the team of 26. the cup full of sweat, blood n tears. didnt manage to say this on race day itself..

i look at the Cup everyday!
and i so gotta agree!!!!!! after they left, i could breathe so much better. before that i was just suffocating.....
